Im starting to get use to the new name, but i dont like some of the new rules. like you cant race back to the line after the yellow flag. and the if its under 5 laps to go, lets stop the race. thats gay. they ned them to race unless its a big crash.

I think they should race back to the caution if it's under 5 laps to go because that could be the race if it's not restarted. On the other hand, having the feild be frozen when the caution comes out, then it helps the saftey crew get to the cars quicker to assist the driver.

and whats this stuff about the points thing?? i dont understand thatAfter 26 races the points are reset. The top 10, or anyone within 400 points of the leader after 26 races advances. Everyone else cannot win the championship. The top 10 or the within 400 drivers will then battle it out for the last 10 races amongst themselves. This gives the guys a chance if the leader of the points had a big gap and they were far behind and wouldnt be able to catch up.

About the caution thing is that I don't like the lucky dog pass (or pardon depending on what you call it). But I do like the no racing back to the caution rule. NASCAR was the only racing circut that allowed it to begin with, and it also makes it safer. And I don't like the lucky dog pass because it gives the person something they didn't earn. Just a little history lesson in the 70's I think it was the Indianapolis Speedway was so adiment (I think that is how you spell it) about people not gaining ground under caution that you had to stay how ever far back behind the person in front of you until green. For example if you were 2 seconds behind the leader and you were second place you had to stay 2 seconds behind the leader.

And with the points system I think that it's stupid that they changed it. Just because Kenseth won the championship with like 4 races to go doesn't mean the points system is flawed it just means that Kenseth was good last year.

P.S. I'll be at the Brickyard 400 on August 8.

Dude, you can dumb down any sport like that

Wrestling - 2 steroid abusers pretend to hit each other for 20 minutes while emitting a selection of grunts...

It may not seem like it, but when they say they are the number 1 sport in America they are damn true. When it gets down to ratings and fans, there are tons more than any other sports.

I know I've seen the ratings. Just to let you know you do have to go to at least one race to really know how fast they really go. It looks slow on TV.
